  3. Awesome shots of the duck,very fine detail of the feathers... how uncommon that slate blue bill!

    1. Thanks Belita :-)) I have only ever seen this type of duck in one particular place, the National Wetlands Centre, about 45 miles from where I live.

  13. Beautiful shot of him , Mitchy. Reminds me of ruddy ducks...the males' bills turn blue during breeding season. Always love your nature and wildlife shots.

  16. My friend and I are going out tomorrow to a farm park to try for photos for the countryside competition. If we get any thing any where near this good we'll be in with a chance. Loving the blue beak.
