You captured them at the right timing. Excellent shot that proves the peace and tranquility we find in Nature is a reality only for superficial observers...
I guess observation is a good part of photography. In this case, I had noticed the butterfly suddenly stop in mid-air. Knowing that butterflies can't usually do that, I hurried over to see what was happening, and arrived just as the spider was emerging from it's hiding place.
Impressive photo depicting the natural world...awesome, Mitch!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda :-))
Deleteoh yes, the food chain is as natural as can be, fabulous capture!

DeleteLiving with a feline "trio infernal" nothing shocks me any more - my felines say "that's life".
ReplyDeleteforgot to congratulate you on the great photo, just at the righ time.
DeleteThanks Pat :-))
DeleteI'm not surprised the felines would say that, considering they're not averse to eating the odd butterfly themselves!!! LOL.
DeleteGreat observer Mitch !!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fatos :-))
DeleteNice photo of a cool Chelicerata chilling for lunch. Being the frugal fellow that he is, I'll bet he wraps some of his meal up and saves it for later.
ReplyDeleteHe started the wrapping as I watched :-))
