Our goal (now that we're old and retired) is to spend the winter in Florida, where summer pretty much does last forever. Your post looks like our winter! And I love it.
I left Minnesota 40 years ago and moved to La. I replaced shoveling a path through the snow with shoveling a path though the humid air, but I will never be able to live in the Land of the Frozen Chosen again.
Hi Tim. The weather here in the UK is becoming more extreme by the year. Last year we has the wettest year on record, then the winter lasted much longer than usual, now we have the hottest summer for a decade!!
Beautiful shot. I'm not a super summer heat fan, like it around 20 Celsius, that would be perfect all year round, but with climate change/global warming, well lots of out of the "normal" weather.
that reminds me of when I live in Portsmouth, sometimes the summers really did look like that and there are palm trees on the seafront. Old London Bridge in Arizona?? really?? I never knew that.

ReplyDeleteYes, it was purchased by a US oil tycoon. It was dismantled and moved to Arizona between 1967 and 1971.
