Pardon my expression, but it's time for PICTURE PERFECT!! This week our host is Gary The Gator, who has chosen the theme of EXPRESSIONS (or SAYINGS). My expression is "Don't Bite Off More Than You Can Chew"
We have exactly the same saying: Ikke bit over mer enn du kan tygge. Excellent image :-)
Your picture reminds me of the images of Tim Flash- I posted a link to his website on my Wordpress earlier today http://amalievonbergen.wordpress.com/photographers/tim-flash/
Beautiful shot Mitchy! Makes me think of Tim Flash... I love the details, the expression and of course its cuteness... In French we say Having one's eyes bigger than one's belly...
Thanks Kia. You are the second person to mention Tim Flash, so I have looked up his work online. I feel honoured that anyone thinks my shot in any way comes close to his incredible work.
LOL I love your take on this theme Mitch..instant smiles from me. http://mil-oneinamillion.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/picture-perfect-expressions-aussie-slang.html
It looks somewhat like our common raccoon which is a real menace in our cities and far from endangered. Here is mine http://muzenews.ning.com/profiles/blogs/picture-perfect-expressions-2
The similar appearance to the raccoon is superficial. They are smaller and lighter than a raccoon and not aggressive. Their natural habitats in Madagascar are slowly being destroyed by the activities of man.
cool love it
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi :-))
DeleteExcellent shot! Love the detail of his mouth innerside...
ReplyDeleteThanks Belita. I was really pleased with how this one came out.
Deletehey mitch a wonderful expression that transfers very well in any culture i think ...and what a weird critter...ummmm what do they taste like?
ReplyDeleteIt's a Madagascan Ring-Tailed Lemur, Heather. They're an endangered species, so I don't think you should be trying to eat any!! LOL.
DeleteNow the comment box is here. Before said error.
ReplyDeleteYour entry is so cute and sure fits the theme.
