Have you ever noticed that the closer to Nature you get, the more detail you see?

    1. Thanks Eevee :-)) I had to partially shade the orange flower. As you know, strong sunlight will often wash out the true colour of a flower, but I wanted to show at least a little of the sunlight falling on it.

    1. Thanks Belita :-)) I really like the green one, too. If you stare at it without blinking for about 30 seconds you start to get an optical illusion of movement.

  10. I really like the colours on the last one, the yellow and lilac together look really good, almost too good, looks like a painting, guess until you start really looking you never see the full extent of natures colours.

    1. Thanks Loretta. I'm lucky to live in an area where there is not only the National Botanic Gardens fairly close by, but also several other ornamental gardens open to the public, so I get a chance to photograph a wide variety of flowers.
