NatureFootstep: Blo-Ma #48

NatureFootstep is a Swedish site I've just discovered, who post themed photographic challenges or 'memes' from Sunday to Thursday. Sunday is 'Water', Monday is 'Light', Tuesday is 'Blo-Ma', Wednesday is 'Abstract' and Thursday is 'Winged'.

A word of explanation about the term 'Blo-Ma'. It is a kind of short-hand for 'Flower Macro' ('blo' is short for 'blomma', the Swedish word for flower and 'ma' is short for macro......simple!!!). This is my entry for this week's 'Blo-Ma' (a little late, I know!!).

  1. Doesen't matter if you're late. A wonderful yellow sun is smiling in your macro.

    1. Thanks Belita. Actually I think it was Sophie who found the site, and I saw the link on her page. I probably won't have time to take part in all of them, so I'll do perhaps two or three per week.

  8. Hi Mitch and welcome to NF Blo-Ma. The meme is not entirely about macro flowers. You can post any macro you want to and any flower you want to. :)

Love the rich yellow color in your photo. It is a gorgeous shot. :)

As flower macros are one of my favourite subjects, they are most likely what I will post each time.
