It's Thursday, so the theme at NatureFootstep is 'Winged'. A theme for all things with wings (but not necessarily feathers LOL).
This is my favourite of all the bird photos I've taken over the last few years. It was taken at Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. This guy was quite a poser, standing still while I snapped several shots of him.
THE RAVEN
A great shot of the raven.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice evening.

DeleteIncredible detail... I feel like touching his feathers...Of course he would never allow me, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks Belita. I was amazed how close he let me get, but I don't think he'd have let me actually touch him.

DeleteGreat photo Mitch ~ I've just been reading that here in the Peak District in [the appropriately named] Ravensdale a pair of ravens have just fledged two or three young. Marvellous birds.
ReplyDeleteThanks Charlie. They are fascinating birds, to be sure. I wish there were some closer to where I live!!
