If It Moves......Photograph It!!
If It Doesn't Move....Photograph It Anyway!!
me too!and what a clear sky it is!
Not a cloud to be seen!! :-))
that sure does look like Florida! :-) Beautiful photo!Clear skies and fine weather I will 2nd....but summer? It's a melting pot here and a bit too long....but......No where else I would rather be!
Thanks Linda. Looks like Florida, but it's actually Arizona!! It was taken at Lake Havasu, where the old London Bridge is sited. The weather over here in the UK have been quite hot the last few weeks too.
Our goal (now that we're old and retired) is to spend the winter in Florida, where summer pretty much does last forever. Your post looks like our winter! And I love it.
Thanks Sallie :-)) I wouldn't mind spending winter in Florida myself!! This shot was taken in Arizona in April.
nice photo and poem.. im waiting for fall already and the cooler weather :P
Thanks Jacob :-)) It's a little on the warm side here at the moment, too. Could do with some thunderstorms to clear the air some!!
I left Minnesota 40 years ago and moved to La. I replaced shoveling a path through the snow with shoveling a path though the humid air, but I will never be able to live in the Land of the Frozen Chosen again.
Hi Tim. The weather here in the UK is becoming more extreme by the year. Last year we has the wettest year on record, then the winter lasted much longer than usual, now we have the hottest summer for a decade!!
looks like it could be really hot and humid there-right now I am looking forward to fall skies-lol
Yes, it's been rather too warm just lately, could do with it being a little cooler!!
OMG ! loved your picture and amen to your words with all my heart .
Thanks Fatos :-))
Beautiful shot. I'm not a super summer heat fan, like it around 20 Celsius, that would be perfect all year round, but with climate change/global warming, well lots of out of the "normal" weather.
Thanks DL :-)) I'm not a fan of high heat either.......my ideal temp range would be 20C to 25C.
Great shot, Takes me back to Maui
Thanks Tess :-))
Great shot but..... I would stay in the shade.
There was plenty of shade about 100 metres from this palm tree........the old London Bridge!!
A beautiful capture Mate;)
Thanks Baz :-))
that reminds me of when I live in Portsmouth, sometimes the summers really did look like that and there are palm trees on the seafront. Old London Bridge in Arizona?? really?? I never knew that.
Yes, it was purchased by a US oil tycoon. It was dismantled and moved to Arizona between 1967 and 1971.
