What a vibrant green forest with just the right amount of light peeking through the treetops. Gives me a peaceful feeling just looking at it *sigh* Glad you joined us :)
love this photo Mitch, wish it were nice and sunny like that now. I've been looking back at some of your photos and they are all so professional now. Even if I had a decent camera I recon the standard is pretty high these days. you've got some great shots on these pages.
Hi Loretta!! Yes, I wish it was nice and sunny like thta myself. Don't know about where you are, but I've got bad storms here. Torrential rain and gale-force winds. It's set to continue for the next 24 hours.
Thanks for your kind comments on my photos :-)) I run a photographic group here on Blogger called 'Picture This'. Each weekend we set a theme, and contributors post up to three photos each of their own to match the theme. It's a lot of fun. If you want to view it or even follow it, look at the list of 'Friends I follow' on the right-rail of my page. The link to 'Picture This' is second from the top of the list. If you ever wanted to contribute yourself, you'd have to let me know so I could send you an invite.
What a glorious place to walk ... I love dappled sunlight ... it's like dancing sunlight ... too beautiful
ReplyDeleteWalking in woodland in the summer is one of the best things in the world :-))
DeleteWalking in the woods...so nice! This is what I usually do during the weekend morning while I stay in Canada.
ReplyDeleteOf all the places to go for a walk, woodland, or better still forest, are amongst the best!!
DeleteOh I love this-especially since winter is returning this week
ReplyDeleteNot much sign of it being like this here, at the moment!!! Winter still refuses to go away!! This was taken during a previous summer.
DeleteI, like Lynne, am a lover of dappled sunlight when it bends down and kisses all that nature provided!!
ReplyDeleteWhat makes this photo even more welcoming is the fact it could be anywhere...even where I live! soo...in essence it's homey!
I couldn't agree more!! That's the great thing about woodland and forests :-))
DeleteLooks like a wonderful place to take a walk.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is during the summer months :-))
Deletebeautiful, this is reminding me to get to the local woods : ) I need to get out in nature
ReplyDeleteThanks Eevee. I need to as well, but the weather just hasn't been good enough yet this year!!
DeleteA very beautiful place to take a walk. Who wouldn't accept such a suggestion?
ReplyDeleteI wish Spring would hurry up and arrive so that I can go walking there again!!

Thanks Danette. I enjoy a solitary walk in the woodland, broken only by birdsong and the occasional rustle of leaves.
DeleteLooks like a peaceful place for a relaxing walk.
ReplyDeleteIt is when there are no other walkers around.
DeleteThe wood looks more alive dancing from the shadow to the sun beams :)
ReplyDeleteIndeed it does :-))
DeleteGreat photo. Those woodland paths are certainly alive.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are!! Lots of birds chirping and little critters scurrying through the undergrowth :-))
Deletebeautiful photo and words! those walks are very calming.. arent they?
