    1. Thanks Debby :-)). I've noticed that many of my shots of various kinds of Egret have those little spots of light below the eyes, when photographed in strong sunlight. I think it may be be a light-collecting feature of the eye-surround that helps with their visual acuity.

  11. I love the light and the shaddow. The third photo is stunning. I myself find it difficult to photograph white stuff.

    1. Thanks Ulla :-)) Yes, white subjects reflect more light, which can make them more difficult to photograph well.

    1. They're beautiful birds, that's for sure :-)) These were all photographed at Gatorland in Florida, where they congregate in large numbers, along with other varieties of egret, herons and others.
